Faster Higher Stronger

This week in Assembly we thought about why the Olympic Motto might be Faster Higher Stronger. Children had great ideas about striving to be better and always working to improve in everything we do. We can all work towards a Personal Best.

Four children helped Olly in assembly. Mabli was time keeper and measured with the stopwatch and a metre stick.
Shujana ran 100 metres around the hall. She ran really fast.

Curtis jumped up high. He jumped about 60 cms, wow!
Honor picked up a tray full of KG weights. She was so strong!

Then we all had to guess the World Records of Usain Bolt, Stefka Kostadinova and Rahman Siamond.
We were all amazed at how fast Usain Bolt ran, how high Stefka Kostadinova could jump and how strong Rahman Siamond was!
